IMS Appointment Confirmations

The stores are now scheduling details in the store. With that new process, there is a new activity "Confirm Appointment". This activity MUST be completed before you can upload or attach any documents. We are concluding out testing today on our new feature which allows for you to click a button in ProjectsForce and the system will confirm the appointment for you. If the detail is sold without being scheduled, there is no need to confirm this as the system will simply schedule once dates and times are sent over. Detail Process Not Scheduled At Store:

  • Detail is received in ProjectsForce without any dates

  • Once the "Date Scheduled" has been updated the detail will be scheduled in IMS

  • Upload completed detail into ProjectsForce either manually or with auto uploads and it will complete the detail out in ProjectsForce as well as in IMS

  • At this point the ProjectsForce Status is "Detail Completed" and the IMS Status is "Scheduled".

  • At the next 15 minute interval, the IMS Status will change to "Work Complete", this will trigger the detail that has been uploaded to be transferred to IMS.

Detail Process Scheduled At Store:

  • Detail is received in ProjectsForce with dates and times selected by the client while in the store

  • Review the date and times to ensure you can accommodate the requested time

  • If the time works for you, hit the newly added "Confirm Appointment" button which will confirm the appointment for you in IMS

  • Upload completed detail into ProjectsForce either manually or with auto uploads and it will complete the detail out in ProjectsForce as well as in IMS

  • At this point the ProjectsForce Status is "Detail Completed" and the IMS Status is "Scheduled".

  • At the next 15 minute interval, the IMS Status will change to "Work Complete", this will trigger the detail that has been uploaded to be transferred to IMS.

This new feature should allow you to manage the majority of all details directly in ProjectsForce without the need to log into IMS. There will still be some situations in which you will need to log into IMS and ensure the correct activities have been completed out, but should be at a minimum. Keep in mind, that in order for each step to occur, the appropriate IMS Activity MUST be present. If the appropriate IMS Activity is not present, than that step will be skipped over by the scraper and you will then have to re-trigger the action or manually update it in IMS.
